London Bridge and Bankside Area Guide

Situated just south of the Thames, the London Bridge and Bankside areas have been transformed by heavy investment and redevelopment over the last 20 years.  The area offers the best of Central London living with amazing access to the City, West End and Canary Wharf and great local amenities.  Apart from the attractions situated along The Queen’s Walk, the area has much to offer including The Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, the pubs and restaurants of Bermondsey Street and the pretty, warehouse-lined streets of Shad Thames.  As Europe's tallest building, The Shard has become a real focal point, and this has recently been followed by the other-worldly One Blackfriars development which towers over Blackfriars Bridge.  Borough Market has been in its current buildings since the 1850s and is a foodie destination with amazing produce and fast food from across the UK and abroad.  The area offers a wide variety of accommodation from converted warehouse apartments, to luxury developments with 24 hour concierge and gyms.  London Bridge offers real variety and character and it is no wonder so many professionals are proud to call it home.

Getting Around
London Bridge could hardly be better connected.   Walk north across London Bridge and find yourself in The City in no time or take the Northern Line direct to Bank in one stop or to Old Street in three.  Canary Wharf is no more than 10 minutes away on the Jubilee Line heading east, with Bond Street a similar distance west.
